DESCRIPTION:This training will be held in person at The Multi-Assistance Center (The MAC) Home Lab located at 5210 Thousand Oaks Dr.\, San Antonio\, TX 78233 \nDo you care for a loved one that experiences limb loss or paralysis due to a brain injury\, Stroke\, or a spinal condition?   \nThis workshop will be led by Kim Belshaw\, LVN who will provide a hands-on training focusing on safely transferring your loved one in the home and other settings while maximizing the quality of care that your loved one receives. \n It will cover: \n\nAmbulation assistance\nTransfer Technique\nSituational Transfers\n\nThis workshop is offered at no cost and open to caregivers who care for a loved one with a physical disability.  \n
